Rutikvere dairy house, with its new looks, is one of the pearls in Estonian agriculture.
The dairy house was first opened in 1929. It is now restored and was re-opened in May 2019. In addition to the renovated building, you can also see the equipment used back in the old days – scale to weight milk, milk and cream tubs, pumps, devices for cream. Tubs for salting the cheese and milk labor – with everything to determine the quality of the milk – are located in the cellar. Rutikvere dairy house is a great example of how one dairy industry looked like back in the 1930s.
Now, the dairy house is a museum and is open on request,
